About the Space

Look through all the photos... the location is a lot. The mountain cliffs in the backyard make a great desert backdrop, the canyons create a great area that has different scene areas.. usually a desert look & 8 1/2 acres and part of that makes a little road that comes down to the gas station / mechanic shop, The gas pumps are movable, A gas station in the middle of nowhere type of a place. The mechanics area is filled with tools and aesthetics that create a natural backdrop for anything related to fixing things. Everything has patina. Just come look, i’m here all the time. Props all over the place, always adding. It’s got a black and white checkered tile floor that makes a good dance floor in a mechanic zone. It has a lift in it so you can put a car up in the air. There’s a wraparound area in the garage more than we show . Note a small convenience store can nearly be built with counters, cash register wall form and shelves on hand. The other part is a Trailer that is weathered and looks kind of like it could be a hide out or part of a breaking bad type set. There’s a few shipping containers on the property and we filmed inside a couple of those. I think most important the largest areas are completely natural. easy to create your own world. That works for some scenes and then productions are able to use the garage for another part of the projects like many different sets. There are several old cars on the land one burned in a fire... exploded. We live in a typical track home that is not the highlight of the property. We have added a 2 bedroom and 2 more bathrooms and a 2nd kitchen that doubles as an apartment area … or a green room holding area while productions are here. The kitchen is easy to film in because it is spacious. This part is sectioned off from where we live…. It’s practical and helpful. We like filming here, It’s a good thing. I’m a visual artist so I kind of understand. At this time we are reserving the original portion of the "track home" for our use. We have shifted filming to that area with proper notice. Open floor plan with enough room to maneuver around your equipment. Large living room, open dining room, and 3 accesses to the kitchen area. Updated 90's kitchen with stainless steel appliances., granite counters, and hardwood-looking floors. Updated bathroom Spanish style with glass-enclosed full shower. Opens to a large patio with plenty of space. like a movie ranch. Or garage space that has numerous possibilities. Recent convenience store and pawn shop set up with mostly our things but they added some things. Kidnap? Alien invasian? Wild west cowboy fight, Irac, Turkey, Haiti, We have done 2 Joshua tree scenes We are around to answer questions.
