Welcome to the ultimate creative hub! Our modern daylight studio is perfect for every kind of project. Whether it's photo sessions, video shoots, podcast recordings, music videos, events, classes, or whatever else you’re dreaming up, this space is yours to bring to life! Located in Dupont Circle, our studio is surrounded by the neighborhood's vibrant energy, artistic flair, and a wide array of restaurants and coffee shops. Equipment: The studio is fully stocked with equipment, so you can travel light! Free with all bookings: Four C-stands, two rolling light stands, 86" seamless backdrops, XLR cables, three heavy-duty extension cords, and a full range of grip gear including clamps, gaff tape, sandbags, and apple boxes. Additional continuous and strobe lighting, modifiers, and other equipment are available for a flat fee — see the Add-Ons section for details. Seamless Backdrops: Currently we have 86" Savage seamless backdrops in super white, black, smoke gray, egg nog (beige), cocoa (light brown), chestnut (dark brown), crimson (dark red), coral (pink), orange, sky blue, tech green, and olive green. Sunlight: Beautiful natural light fills the studio throughout the day, pouring in from three west-facing windows. For total control, blackout curtains and shades can be closed to fully block out the light whenever needed. Props and Decor: Customize your scene with an eclectic mix of props and decor in a range of styles. Our design features mid-century elements combined with vintage accents for an inspiring bohemian feel. Stage the scene as a cozy apartment, home office, art gallery, or even a yoga studio. Staging Room: Adjacent to the studio is a versatile space that can be used as a makeup room, green room, or staging area, complete with clothing racks and makeup mirrors. The studio space is fully private and includes a lockable door for your privacy. The staging room, however, is shared with our studio across the hall. A private bathroom, reserved for studio guests only, is also included. Full Floor Buyout: Check out our full-floor listing for exclusive access to this studio and a second one with even more setups, including textured backdrops and a white brick wall. You’ll also get private use of the glam area and space for up to 30 guests. Getting Here: Your booking includes a reserved parking space for up to two cars behind the building so parking is stress-free. Plus, we’re just one block from the Dupont Metro station for easy access. Package Assistance: Need to send supplies ahead of time? We can accept and store a package for you until your booking. Just reach out to coordinate, and we'll make sure everything’s ready when you arrive! Please note that the studio is accessible by stairs only.
