With a gritty, worn-in aesthetic and an authentic feel that reads perfectly on camera, this full-scale subway car features both a detailed interior and a practical exterior, all housed inside a film-friendly warehouse with exclusive private access. Originally constructed for major network productions, this subway car has a long track record on screen. Recent credits include: Dexter: Resurrection (Showtime) American Horror Story: NYC (FX) Extended Family (NBC) How I Met Your Father (Hulu) Night Court (NBC) Now part of the Martinsound family of sets, the subway car is newly available to independent filmmakers and commercial crews alike. It's ready to shoot in, gritty and real, and we're actively making enhancements, including the upcoming addition of a matching full-scale subway station. Weekend or after-hours scouting may be available upon request and may include additional fees. Furnishings & Props This set includes built-in subway seating, signage, map graphics, and authentic finishes. Additional courtesy props may be available on-site, but we recommend bringing in any critical elements to ensure continuity and condition. Gear Available Need gear? We’ve got it. Cameras (Red, Blackmagic, Sony), cine lenses, Aputure lights, Litepanels, Quasars, grip, and more! Rent where you shoot and save on time and transport. Booking Policy + All rentals are first-come, first-served + Booked hours must include setup and teardown + We reserve the right to book other productions in different sets, but your crew will have exclusive use of the subway car and its surrounding area + 10+ additional sets available to book at Martinsound- ask us about multi-set packages + Overtime billed at 1.5x unless extended in advance Shoot gritty.
