If you want a one of a kind experience that is not duplicatable then read on. A real Farmhouse on a 200 year old working farm. A great place for the family and close friends to experience the mountains culture, history and beauty. The home is traditional, yet eclectically decorated with modern amenities and year round access.
This is a real working farm surrounded by farmland with cows and horses. We are in a rural setting close to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. We also have an abundance of wildlife such as raccoons, possums, rabbits and all kinds of other varmits and critters. We have a red fox and a bobcat that live close by and also a couple of harmless back snakes. They help control the mice population. You will probably hear the coyotes howl at night. You may also see elk, turkeys, deer, bear or wild boar. None of these animals will harm you, we have been living with them for centuries. If you don't like animals or are afraid of animals, or looking for a country club or resort setting, we are not the place for you. In the summer time there are thousands of lightning bugs that light up the night sky and kids love to chase and catch them.
