Beautiful, all-original, low-mileage and rare Jaguar V12 convertible! The Jaguar XJS was a grand tourer built between 1975-1996, replacing the legendary E-Type. The last generation, of which this is an example, is the most developed and most reliable of these future classics. Powered by a 6.0-liter V12 linked to a four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential, the car features 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels. The cabin is trimmed in Barley leather (AFW) with red piping along with wood veneer accents. Amenities include heated power-adjustable front sport seats with lumbar support, driver-seat position memory, trip computer, a Motorola car phone, and a cassette stereo linked to an Alpine six-disc CD changer in the trunk. The 6.0-liter V12 was factory rated at 278 horsepower and 351 lb-ft of torque. HOW TO BOOK: The hourly rate pays for the car only. Delivery to your location (within a 15-mile radius of Hawthorne) and a driver to stay on-site to help operate it are extra add-ons which usually must be added on for this car (see very bottom for exceptions). The delivery fee acts as a base fee and covers the cost of gas, drive time, and time/materials required to prep the car. When booking, ensure you select enough time to meet the minimum booking time. This is the time the vehicle is required to be at your location. You do not need to keep the car for the minimum booking time. After booking, send me a message with approx. shoot location, any special requests, and exact time desired on-set. Message me BEFORE BOOKING if: 1. You require delivery MORE than 15-miles from Hawthorne; an add’l fee MAY be required. I am also open to long-distance sites; the car can be trailered. 2. You have a full-day (6+ hours) or multi-day requirements, I will send you a custom rate with discounts off the advertised rate 3. You plan to have your own driver pick up/drop off and/or operate the car and thereby avoid the driver and/or delivery fee. I must approve this plan prior to booking. These requirements must be met: copy of driver's license; proof of active car insurance; written promise you will replace the fuel used. You are also limited to 75 miles per 24-hour period, with each additional mile costing $1/mile.
