2 reviews- booked a filming
We used this DTLA loft-style space to film a short film, and it was perfect for our project. The space was large enough to comfortably hold both our cast and crew, with great furniture and equipment already on-site, which made setup much easier. We especially appreciated how the layout allowed us to film multiple 1v1 fight scenes for our choreography. One challenge we encountered was the heat. Even filming between 11 PM and midnight, it felt like a sauna. We had two portable AC units running, but had to turn them off during filming to avoid background noise. If you're planning to shoot here, I’d recommend avoiding the summer months due to the heat. That said, for a small cast and a straightforward script, this space was perfect, and I’d definitely use it again.

Colin was super helpful in answering all the questions I had! The space was lovely and very accommodating for the cast and crew. The only thing was unloading and loading up. The location is under a big packaging house so it was a little difficult loading in because there was very little parking in the area. Other than that, everything went very smoothly.
