About the Space
Welcome to Archival Studios, a light-filled, mid-century industrial loft and professional recording studio in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles’ Arts District. Featuring 30-foot exposed wood beams, 12-foot south-facing factory windows, and over 2,000 square feet of flexible, open space, the studio is bathed in natural light throughout the day—or can be fully blacked out for complete production control. Perfect for photo and video shoots, music recording, brand activations, and creative events, the studio combines industrial character with warm, mid-century design. A fully equipped recording suite includes a 16-channel snake, isolated live room, and production workspace for seamless professional sessions. Upstairs, a loft area features a DJ listening booth, styling and prep room, and office space for coordination or client work. Styled with vintage furniture, lush greenery, and textured materials, the space requires little to no set dressing. A full kitchen and coffee bar make it ideal for long production days, workshops, or intimate gatherings. Held my single release show here and could not have been happier with the space and the work done by Colin and his crew. The sound system worked perfectly, the ambiance was great and exactly what I envisioned for the show, and the staff was very friendly and professional.
