About the Space
Industrial studio in the Arts District, 2,000 sq ft over two floors. Shot in by Anine Bing, Dr. Martens, Rolling Stone, Yamaha, Roland, Guitar Center, Fiverr and Insta360. The ground floor is the live room: one open space, 35 ft to the ceiling, with 12 ft south-facing windows along one wall. Blackout curtains take it to full dark in minutes. A 15 ft rigging beam runs overhead, reachable from the house ladder. The control room is at the back, entered through the live room, with a 16-channel snake to the floor. Upstairs is a 650 sq ft loft with two rooms and an open area for holding, hair and makeup, or client seating. The room is a working recording studio. Backline, PA, grand piano and the snake are on site and available as add-ons, so a live session or a music video does not need a gear truck. Good for: lookbook and e-commerce stills, product and campaign video, music videos, live session capture, interviews and podcasts, listening parties and launches, workshops and rehearsals. Also shot here: Ernie Ball, Pioneer, Cakewalk, Suno, Hudson Jeans, Realme, BPM Music, Propel Health, True Sea Moss, Muna and the Simple Plan documentary. What you get as it stands: vintage furniture, plants, textured walls, wood beam ceiling, concrete floor. Shoot it as is or clear it.
