Welcome to the Jamii Hub! Located in Toronto’s St. Lawrence and Esplanade neighbourhood, the Jamii Hub is a flexible 1,870 sq. ft. event and creative space designed for bringing people together. With an open-concept layout, exposed brick, original wood beams and ceilings, large windows, and an arts-filled atmosphere, the Hub has plenty of character while giving you the flexibility to make the space your own. From workshops and meetings to celebrations, performances, markets, photoshoots and community gatherings, the space can be transformed to suit a wide range of events. STANDING | Up to 100 people AUDITORIUM STYLE | 50–60 people CLASSROOM STYLE | Up to 40 people A SPACE FOR Birthdays, baby and bridal showers, workshops, classes, corporate events, meetings, community gatherings, performances, rehearsals, film and photography, podcasts, markets, pop-ups, art exhibitions, networking events, launches, presentations and more. RENTING WITH US IS EASY Flexible setup: Our open floor plan can be adapted for different layouts, activities and event styles. Furniture included: Chairs, tables, couches and patio furniture are available for your event. Equipment available: TV, projector, sound equipment, microphones, lighting, staging and more are available. WiFi included: Complimentary WiFi is available throughout your rental. Food & catering: Outside food and catering are welcome. On-site support: A Jamii staff member is present throughout every rental to assist with the space and answer questions. Easy to get here: Conveniently located downtown and easily accessible by TTC, with street parking and paid parking lots nearby. MUSIC, FOOD & ALCOHOL DJs, live music, amplified music and dancing are welcome. Music must remain at a reasonable level and cannot be audible outside the venue. Our on-site staff will monitor noise levels when needed. Music must end by 12:00 AM. Alcohol is permitted with the appropriate AGCO permit and Smart Serve requirements. Event insurance is required for all rentals. Additional details will be provided during the booking process. GOOD TO KNOW Rentals can run as late as 1:00 AM. Your booked time must include setup, decorating, event time, cleanup and load-out. The Hub has a ramp providing step-free interior access to the washroom area and an accessible washroom stall. Please note that the entrance and washroom doors do not have automatic door openers. Most importantly, the Hub is a space you can make your own.
