About the Space
Take a trip to a far-out scene, a total mindblower where the vibes are cool and the karma's clean! The Psychedelic Stoner Lounge is a hippy, trippy, way outta sight mellow den filled with 60s, 70s, Space Age, MCM, Hollywood Regency, Summer of Love vintage treasures. Down with minimalism and up with oversized couch sets, gaudy lighting, erotic art, shagadelic rugs, a stereo-bar stocked with a turntable, 8-track player and faux fireplace, groovy blow-up pillows, a disco ceiling and rainbow wallpaper sure to transport you to another freaky dimension. This fab space is perfect for small film projects or photoshoots, a podcast, an interview, unveiling your brand, announcing your record release, or shooting your next vintage clothing capsule. Take inspo from"House of the Rising Sun" meets "Stranger Things" meets "Axis: Bold as Love" feels here.... Please note that this is a small space best suited for minimal sized crew and talent. Everything is vintage, one-of-a-kind, delicate and meticulously placed. This space is an expression of passion and love of all stuff kitschy and wild, and as such I ask that when in use, you please show the same kind of tender loving care given in curating a magical fantastical place. I'll be upfront with this hippie tip: please don't touch or move objects or art. Please don't move furniture. It goes without saying, there's a "break it-buy it" policy here. Booties must be worn by everyone at all times, unless by talent in the shot. Please ask beforehand and I will provide cleaning supplies to clean shoe bottoms for on-camera. No smoking. No food or drinks allowed, unless a beverage is part of the shoot and must be pre-approved beforehand. A coaster must be always used. The Psychedelic Stoner Lounge has customizable Hue mood lighting, both white and full spectrum color. I will gladly work with you throughout the shoot to custom design lighting setups. There is a good amount of filtered natural light during the daytime. When night falls, the mood becomes darkly dramatic, and the freak factor rises. Available add-ons: ~I have vintage glass and barware of various styles if a specialized drink look is needed for a shoot. I will be happy to mock up a cocktail or beverage for an additional charge, let's discuss ahead of time. ~I have a collection of vintage vinyl and 8-tracks here. If you would like a custom curated stack of wax or tapes to set the tone, that can be selected as well for an additional charge. ~Street parking permits will be needed and can be provided for longer shoots and evening hours for an additional charge. At booking, please add-on one permit for each car you plan on parking here. Let's discuss your parking needs ahead of time, so I can have permits ready when you arrive. Let's shoot, let's create, let's have a high time...dig it? Thanks for taking this side trip! xoxo✌️✨
