Finally ready for its close-up! Craftsman bungalow, built 1908, now restored to its former glory (and then some). Reimagined with many authentic details rarely found in a house this size. Oak floors, exposed built-in woodwork, leaded glass cabinets, stained glass windows, mosaics, stone courtyard walls, big welcoming front porch. Located on attractive street in South Pasadena, already popular for film shoots. House was featured in several film and TV productions before renovation. Please check with the City of South Pasadena on permitting requirements before booking.
We actually rented Meg's space for a small Celebration of Life gathering to honor the memory of my father-in-law. The place was perfect - immaculate, eclectic, and intimate with impeccable attention to detail as regards furnishings and fixtures. The backyard was peaceful and lovely as well. Meg was gracious and easy to coordinate with - a clear communicator and a pleasure to work throughout, from loading in tables to clean-up. `I know Giggster specializes in film shoots, but I would highly recommend this space for smaller events and gatherings as well. It was a great alternative (and far more economical) to other area venues that usually handle weddings and similar events. Just a fantastic venue and a great experience all around.

Meg was a great host! She was so accommodating for our shoot and helped us every step of the way. She gave us recommendations and advice for making things go smoothly and let us use every room we needed. The house was beautiful and the shots came out incredibly cinematic and had the perfect feeling of nostalgia that we were going for. We would absolutely recommend this location for anyone with a music video, short film, TV show or any scene needing a beautiful, wooden nostalgic house as a set. The neighborhood is beautiful as well! Thank you Meg.
Meg is so accommodating!! The house has so many lovely rooms. We used nearly all of them. Lots of space in the kitchen and dining room for people. One note- we needed some time to load in and the neighbors were very vocal and called the permit office if even one more car than allowed was parked and unloading gear. The limit is 4 cars total. Including the cars that park in the driveway. Otherwise, for our shoot the neighbors were very patient.
Meg was very informative and helpful through the process of booking and permitting. She was pleasant to work with from start to finish! Thanks Meg
Wonderful space and very accommodating!
Is house is really pretty and Meg protect it so well. She let us to move everything also we will move back afterwards. AlsoMeg is soooo nice, we did multiple location scout she knows we are in low budget so she's trying to help us to save the budget on location scout. Definitely will film at her place again!
Meg was an amazing host! She was very understanding of the ever-changing world of production and worked with us to make sure our shoot ran smoothly. I highly recommend Meg’s beautiful home!
Fantastic house to shoot in. Beautiful and spacious. The house is more furnished than shown in the pictures and furnished well. Great communication throughout the process. FYI: Due to the neighborhood, you will want to do things by the book here with a permit, which requires paying for a South Pasadena security officer (even with a small crew). But it was well worth it for us to shoot in this space. We didn't have any problems, and the house was absolutely perfect for our film. Thank you, Meg, for everything!
We are so grateful for the opportunity to work in this lovely home. Meg was very accommodating, friendly, and responsive. She was very clear about her expectations and guidelines, and really helped us to have a safe, fun, and successful shoot. While location days are generally tougher for production, I’m happy to say that shooting here was one of our smoothest, and most productive days. Thank you so much!
This is such a beautiful home with amazing wood finishing throughout and a vintage feel. Meg is also a great host and made everything very smooth and easy for us. I would absolutely recommend this location to anyone looking. The neighborhood is quiet and there is a large backyard for overflow. It's an extremely production friendly as well as photogenic space! Highly recommend.
This location owner is so nice to everything. On the second day of shooting, our wrapping time was very urgent. The police rushed us away fiercely, and the owner helped us communicate with the police. We are so grateful to her help and her amazing house. ❤️
