The Courtyard Room is a beautifully engineered, sound-controlled conference room in the heart of Chelsea — built for focus, privacy, and clarity. Every detail of the room is designed to keep conversations quiet, contained, and distraction-free. Positioned along the Inner Courtyard, it is acoustically engineered for high-focus, distraction-free meetings. Soundproofing: The coffered ceiling absorbs and diffuses noise better than a flat ceiling — the recessed grid breaks up sound waves, preventing them from continuously echoing between the floor and ceiling, and each of the hollow coffers is fitted with sound-absorbing panels. The thirty-six-inch foundation walls and the room's placement on the Inner Courtyard completely block out street noise. The room's only interior wall is fitted with six layers of sound-attenuating materials, including QuietRock® and mass-loaded vinyl, and the two-inch-thick double sliding doors are also made with sound-attenuating panels. Lighting The lighting of the Courtyard Room is entirely programmable to suit the purpose of the meeting. Hue full-color-spectrum lamps in two wall-length soffits bathe the ceiling in mood lighting, while perfectly spaced Hue downlights on the perimeter walls add diffused lighting — so that no harsh single-point light fixtures are visible from any angle in the room.
