About the Space

This is a 5 bedroom, 4 and a half bath contemporary home built in 2017. The interior is a large open, loft-like plan with high ceilings, a new kitchen, all Samsung appliances, double kitchen islands with Eames bar stools, continuous living and dining area, and a long wall of floor-to-ceiling books. (We are both UCLA professors....) Clean and contemporary furniture, including Italian-style modern sectional, 8 person walnut dining table with Knoll chairs, and a small library/seating area with an upright Yamaha piano and a black leather Eames office chair. There are 2 baths and a guest room with a separate entrance on the main floor, and 4 rooms (2 offices, teenage boy's room, and large master bedroom with slider) upstairs. The master bathroom is especially bright with double sink, freestanding tub, and over-sized walk-in monsoon shower. A sliding glass door downstairs looks out onto a bbq, outdoor dining table, and dipping pool, and a separate free-standing garage, also available for film-shoots. The house is in Hollywood near Melrose and La Brea, and has parking for 3 cars and abundant street parking (we can supply daily visitor permits).
