About the Space

A certified organic working farm and natural oasis near the heart of Auckland City, set on 4.5 acres of Hukanui Reserve above Ōpoutūteka Cox's Creek, with community and market garden areas, circled by subtropical food forest, with wild and edible flowers, a communal lawn space, rolling paddocks with livestock and chickens, and rustic facilities including a Farm Shop/Office building and a lunchroom structure that was historically the farm's cow shed. Well away from the road, with a feeling of being in the countryside from the size of the site and the variation between cultivated gardens, productive forest canopy, and paddock pastureland, with a view of the surrounding residential neighbourhoods and small glimpses of the downtown Auckland skyline including the Sky Tower.
