About the Space

Our bright, south facing terrace house in the leafy, central Dublin neighbourhood of Harold's Cross is ready to welcome you. Entering our home, you're greeted by soft colours and warm accents. On the ground floor, you'll first pass by built in cupboards under the stairs and come upon one of two bathrooms, with built in tub and shower. It's hard to miss, with fantastic Portuguese tiling covering the floors. Turning into the main living area, on the right, you have the ground floor office, complete with velvet blue sofa, built in desk and dual computer monitors. The whole house has ultra high speed internet (up to 500mbps download) which you can use while here. There's also a mesh network throughout the house, so you'll never be without WiFi. The office also doubles as bedroom #1. The couch becomes a comfortable double bed. Bi-fold doors and a pocket door close to the hallway transforms the downstairs into a secluded oasis. Onto the living room, with a three blue fabric seater sofa and a 55" Smart TV. On the TV side of this cozy room, built in cupboards painted in a soft blue/grey make this a wonderful space. The kitchen is the heart of our home, especially as we are South facing and get great light throughout the day. A table big enough for 4 (or 6 at a squeeze) is a great spot to enjoy the afternoon sunshine or to spend an evening. The kitchen itself is fully stocked with appliances, with fridge, microwave, Nespresso machine, kettle, gas burner stove, dishwasher, blender, toaster. Clean white walls, green grey cupboards and stainless steel backsplash complete this room. A quick peek out the back garden before heading upstairs and there's a propane BBQ, new composite decking and artificial grass. Upstairs there is a master bedroom with beautiful European King Sized bed, memory foam mattress and cozy sheets. The bathroom has also recently had upgrades, with a new rain shower installation. The second bedroom is our baby daughters. A mixture of pink accents, space decals, and Marvel posters make it an eccentric and lovely space. The house is complete with an unfinished but floored attic, and a front parking area with space for one car/van.
