This is an authentic 1950's classic diner (built in 1957) and is available for rental for film/TV/photo production use. It is NOT available for parties or events. The diner is not currently open to the general public. Pricing is negotiable depending on the nature of the shoot.
It features a traditional diner counter, stools, and booths. The diner has wrap around windows and has both blackout and semi-sheer drapes on all windows that can be utilized if desired for lighting or privacy benefits. The ceiling features a classic aqua green/blue colored formica ceiling with stainless steel wall accents.
All of the tables and booths can be easily moved or removed, as desired, to accommodate camera tripods, lights, etc, as none are bolted to the floor or wall. The stools, however, are not easily removed as they are bolted through the floor.
The property owner also has a variety of authentic diner props that can be made available (such as period correct jukeboxes for the tables and counter, stainless steel coffee urns, 1950s milkshake machine, etc). The rear kitchen is in the building behind the diner and is not currently operational, but can be used for storage of equipment cases or supplies.
The diner area is 40 feet long by 16 feet wide (not including restrooms or rear kitchen space). The interior ceiling height is 8 ft (note: 7 ft 10 inches in some areas).
Electricity: Three (3) dedicated standard (120 volt, 20 amp) electrical outlets are included with all rentals. Upon special arrangement (and at extra fee), hookups for RV's and Production Trailers can be provided, to include 30 amp / 120 volt, and 50 amp / 240 volt service.
