About the Space

This 3-bedroom/4-bed/2-bath chalet is perched high along the northern edge of the Catskill Mountains offering spectacular views from inside and out across 22 secluded acres with not a neighbor in sight. If you want to be enveloped by nature, this is for you. This house features Starlink for incredibly fast internet. The vast majority of houses in this area have standard satellite internet which is painfully slow. This house was constructed using traditional log home-building techniques which performs well in extreme temperatures. Cross-ventilation and ceiling fans keep the house comfortable most days throughout the year, but central heating and central air conditioning are also available when you need it via the Nest smart thermostat. As of June 2023 we've added a 10' long farm table outside perfectly positioned to maximize the panoramic views. The interiors are furnished with an eclectic mix of contemporary and modern pieces from Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams, Joybird, AllModern, CB2, and West Elm as well as unique vintage and mid-century modern pieces, some of which have been newly refinished or refurbished. All bedroom closets feature shelving by Elfa. The kitchen features an oversized granite island w/ built-in oven, range and microwave so that whoever is cooking can easily socialize with the rest of the party. It also houses a huge assortment of almost everything you might want or need to cook a large meal, including a complete set of cookware by Le Creuset. The master bedroom upstairs is very spacious and features vaulted ceilings, an en suite bathroom, a king bed and a desk for computer work along with ample floor space for doing yoga. It also includes the second television in the house which is a 50” Sony 4K HDR Smart TV connected to an Apple TV streaming Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max, Amazon Prime, etc. The larger bedroom downstairs has a king bed as well, while the smallest bedroom features a queen bed. Both of the downstairs bedrooms are located adjacent to the downstairs bathroom. The porch wraps three sides of the house and offers ample opportunities to take in the views. The porch is covered on two of the three sides so you can cook on the provided propane grill in total comfort while enjoying a beverage or two even if the weather turns inclement. For filming purposes we have capped the number of cast and crew at 60 on site, but the inside of the house can probably only accommodate about 30-35 at any given time.
