About the Space
Located in the heart of Burnaby, The Garden is a creative oasis that feels like home. Featuring windows lined with books and plants at every corner, the Garden provides a very warm and comfortable place to shoot, edit and record. Built as a workspace/set for podcasting production. The garden doubles as a 360 set which provides a unique background anywhere you choose to sit. You can host everything from meetings, listening sessions to intimate events and creative sessions. We are open and inclusive to all ideas and people! If you wish to book beyond the times shown, feel free to shoot us a message for a custom booking. Amenities: • Wifi • TV w/ Apple TV/Chromecast/PS2/PS4/Raspberry Pi • Kitchen w/ Microwave/Fridge/Coffeemaker/Kettle • Ambient Lighting • Neewer RGB LED Panel • Backdrop Stand w/ White and Green Screen Backgrounds • Sound deadened w/ Acoustic Panels • 2 Bathrooms We also provide recording services and creative consultations upon inquiry. And please note the studio is on a second level with stair access only. There is plenty of street parking surrounding the studio. Please note any bookings beyond 10pm will be subject to 1.5x the hourly rate. And all parties above 20 people will also include a $75 fee.

We had an incredible time at this location! 1. The space is open and incredibly flexible. 2. There are a lot of interesting props that make it look like a real home and not a 'staged' set. 3. Ton of flexibility with furniture, mirrors, and big and small trinkets. 4. The windows (even at night) do not have a ton of reflection so as long as you wear dark attire you will not end up in the shot. 5. Location is on the second floor, so you get both privacy and a view in case you want the blinds drawn to get more background blur and a more dynamic shot with the traffic and lights outside. 6. Lots of powerful (yet aesthetic) lights on set, which kind of eliminated our need to do motivated lighting. But most importantly! 7. The hosts were incredibly gracious and understanding when one of our cast accidentally broke a frame. Their communication and invoice was beyond reasonable and their professionalism is beyond appreciated. Highly recommend this space and can't wait to film here again!

We hosted a surprise birthday party here ! It was excellent. There are two TVs and a speaker with an aux + card games like anomia. It's one room and the bathrooms are located just outside the room on the same floor. They had a microwave and a mini fridge we could use. There was also plenty of free street parking. The place was very clean and cozy! And it's decorated exactly as pictured. We were 12 ppl and we were all able to sit comfortably. V answered all our questions and was very helpful throughout the process :) I recommend booking this venue. We would happily book it again!

Great experience with the property owner V, very helpful and accommodating. The place was a bit small for my group but they offer a lot of party games and also gaming consoles. Definitely a top notch for a private party.

This place is just perfect to have a cozy party. Everything in the room is clean and neat. The host is soooo kind and helpful. Also the price is incredibly reasonable and good for broke college students like us.
