Perfect for small film/video shoots, natural light or studio photography, and small professional events. This 3rd-floor spacious open-concept loft boasts tons of natural light with three large east and two large south-facing picture windows. An abundance of beautiful plants thrive here, making the space lush and alive. The 12' ceilings are adorned with white decorative tin tiles, heavy wooden beams, and exposed pipes/ductwork, which lend an authentic feel to this old converted factory. The decor is functional yet minimalist and can be tailored to the user's specific needs. Furniture can be rearranged as required. The overhead beams include hardware for hanging. There is a small kitchen, including a stove, microwave, and full fridge. There is a full washroom, including a tub/shower. Guests often tell us that the space makes them feel "instantly at home and welcomed." We aim to provide a comfortable space with functionality and a pleasing aesthetic to meet your production objectives. The space is equipped with a 9-foot seamless paper backdrop rigging and a variety of background paper colours for studio photography. Inquire about available background colours and studio equipment that may be available to you as this inventory frequently changes (basic lighting, soft boxes, extension cables, etc). The building is situated on a quiet residential street across from a lovely park with a breathtaking view of the downtown skyline. This space will exceed your expectations. It's particularly spectacular at night. Free street parking is accessible between 7 am and 12 am, and a temporary permit can be purchased online from the city for overnight parking. There is a business next door with a small parking lot that can be approached about renting parking space for production vehicles. This dreamy loft is a multi-purpose artist space so advance planning is preferred. Generally, a minimum 24-hour notice is recommended to secure a reservation.
