Ideal for small film and video shoots, content creation, and natural-light or studio photography, the space blends character, functionality, warmth, and versatility—creating an inspiring setting to support your vision. Natural light pours in through three large east-facing and two south-facing windows, filling the studio with a soft, energizing glow throughout the day. The light plays beautifully off the lush plant greenery and highlights the studio’s architectural details, creating an atmosphere that feels both vibrant and calm. The impressive 12' ceilings feature decorative white tin tiles, original wood beamwork, and exposed pipes and ductwork. Sturdy wood support beams frame the openness of the studio and add a texture and contrast to the white brick walls anchoring the space in its authentic industrial character and historic charm. The decor is functional and minimalist, allowing for flexible furniture placement and easy styling to suit your needs. A compact yet well-appointed kitchen includes most cooking wares and basic utensils, along with a stove, microwave, and full-sized refrigerator. The studio also features a full 4-piece washroom, ensuring comfort and convenience for longer production days. For projects that require backdrops, the studio is equipped with a 9-foot seamless paper backdrop system—perfect for clean, polished, and professional looks. A selection of backdrop colors are available and may vary over time, please inquire in advance to see if we have what you are looking for. The building is located on a quiet residential street across from a lovely park and greenspace. Inside the studio, you’ll enjoy beautiful views of the downtown skyline, and as evening falls, the sunset, city lights, and warm glow of the space create a magical and striking backdrop for your work. Free street parking is available from 7am–12am, with production and overnight permits obtainable through the city’s online portals. Additional parking may be available by arranging rental spaces with the neighboring business. The studio is conveniently located between Queen Street West and Dundas West, offering easy access to food, supplies, and nearby amenities.
