Australia's first museum is housed in a magnificent sandstone building highlighting the best of 19th century architecture and offers a unique and exciting venue for your celebration. Situated opposite the lush Hyde Park encompassing stunning views of the city skyline, and beyond to the Harbour, the Australian Museum has a space to suit every function. Wow your guests with 200 Treasures of the Australian Museum in the newly restored Westpac Long Gallery. This high-vaulted space features mezzanine balconies and a beautiful heritage staircase. Specimen cases that surround your guests showcasing objects from the Museum’s vast collection. With views north to St Mary’s Cathedral and east to Kings Cross, the Harbour View Room & Terrace and No 1 William are striking venues for your function. A large balcony with floor to ceiling windows fills the rooms with natural light and presents a unique view of Sydney.
