About the Space

Welcome to our studio, conveniently located in Epsom, Auckland! We're just a quick 2-minute drive from Cornwall Park and 3 minutes from Newmarket. Our space offers beautiful views over Marivare Reserve and gets lovely afternoon sun. We also have double roller blinds to control the light—whether you want to filter it, or block it out. For all your backdrop needs, we’ve got a triple-mount system that spans 2.72m wide for easy changes. Need a specific colour? Just let us know a few days ahead, and we’ll make it happen! There’s a small per-meter charge for backdrops to cover any wear and tear. We also offer light wooden flooring underneath, for a stylish alternative, it’s also very handy for flat lays. Our studio is packed with fun props to elevate your shoot! Think cabinets, small tables, ottomans, poofs, mirrors, topiaries, decorative ladders (wooden and whitewashed bamboo), chairs, throws, cushions, and more! We’ve got hanging rail options too, and wooden coat hangers in a variety of colours. If you're after a pop of colour or some greenery, we have plants and flowers ready for you to use, plus other little props like candles, books, mugs, vases, and even fitness gear (exercycle, light weights, yoga mat, and Swiss ball). As part of your rental, we offer a mobile wheeled rack for garments, a clothing steamer, iron, ironing board, and ladders for those shots where you need a little height. Our clothing boutique downstairs also gives you access to loaned items like clothing, handbags, accessories, and more to enhance your shoot should you require it. For your lighting needs, we’ve got 2 x Godox MS300V lights with large octagonal softboxes which can be used with a trigger for flash photography, or with their 5800K 10W modelling light. We also have 4 x 85W continuous lights with rectangular softboxes, including stands and a boom setup. Influencers, we’ve got you covered too with ring lights, tripods, a selfie stick and remote triggers! Need something more? We’re happy to help with hireage and can even connect you with some of our favourite photographers. Got garments to showcase? Check out our ghost mannequin for the pinnacle of professional garment images without a model. This has removable sections to allow for a 3D image of the garment. Allowing for stunning images without the distraction of a model, or mannequin. Need a Self Tape or Video for an Audition? Yes we can help! We are also happy to read opposite you if required. For hair and makeup, we have a dedicated station with all the essentials: a hairdryer, GHD iron, rollers, curling tongs, sectioning clips, and a small range of makeup for touch-ups. Nearby within our block of shops, you'll find Toni & Co, Souer Hair Design, The Hair Lab, and other beauty services too. Need catering? There are plenty of tasty options nearby, including Beso Café next door, Forbes Homemade Gourmet, Steam Wand Café, Tanto Japanese, and Spice Up Sichuan, all within a 2-minute walk. Plus, we have a cozy lunchroom/meeting space equipped with a whiteboard, microwave, fridge, sink, hot water dispenser, and Nespresso coffee machine. Lastly, we’ve got a desk with a large Apple Mac for viewing images and video content, so you can easily review your work while at the studio. We’ve thought of everything to make your shoot smooth, fun, and professional!
