About the Space
A private, 50-acre lake and 100-acre tree farm approximately 13 miles from Colonial Williamsburg. This is an outdoor rental only. A small, rustic cabin built in the 1850s sits on the property with front and back screened porches. The lake is surrounded by multistory bald cypress trees and is ideal for fishing and kayaking/canoeing. Because of its pristine environment, the lake has been studied by EPA and The College of William & Mary. The property also includes acres of wetlands that are easily a stand-in for the Louisiana bayou. Our Pond is approximately 2.5 hours from Washington, DC, and 1 hour from Richmond, Virginia.
