About the Space
Welcome to the Ultimate Graveyard. If you are looking for the PERFECT DESERT LOCATION...then look no further than this 700-acre apocalyptic wasteland with 360° of breathtaking horizon views for your next Film, TV, Commercial, Music Video or Photo production. This Mojave Desert location is comprised of a large expanse of flat land with unobstructed horizon and Mountain View’s and long dirt roads, perfect for shooting westerns, post-apocalyptic scenes, large open area desert scenes, scenes with moving vehicles (car commercials), building large temporary structures, digging or even explosions. It's one big creative playground. Unique features include: a cracked earth dry lakebed, decaying vintage vehicles, gutted plane shell, weathered furniture, joshua trees, graffitied cement underpass/tunnel, tumbleweeds and raw Mojave desert as far as the eye can see. Sprawling railroad tracks (with working trains - not stationary) run right through the middle of the property - a one-of-a-kind feature to complete your creative vision. Great cell phone reception (and data speeds), from all major carriers, throughout the property. Need Production Trailers, Catering, Bathrooms or other services? Just let us know and we are happy to recommend some. There are gas stations, restaurants, grocery store, hardware store, motels and hotels, all within 15 minutes of our location (perfect for multi-day shoots). Best of all, this location is completely hidden from public view, so you’ll have total privacy during your shoot. Location Manager is mandatory and the separate Location Manager fee may vary. Location Agreement and Certificate of Insurance is required. Kevin’s location in Mojave is an absolute dream! You’ll capture the most stunning sunsets here. Kevin has a wealth of production knowledge that he generously shares with the filmmaking crews he works with. He was always very communicative, helpful, and quick to respond. There are many spots and vistas around the property with different looks and vibes. We filmed primarily at the Dry Lake Bed. The proximity to the town of Mojave also makes it easy to coordinate catering and accommodations. We would absolutely book with Kevin at his Desert Apocalyptic location again!

Kevin is the BEST location owner I've ever met!! The location is absolutely amazing with the whole western vibes, we captured a shot with the train which is really beautiful and impressive. PS: It's 15min drive from downtown Mojave so it's not that far away from the catering and accommodation places.
