This venue is where Brooklyn’s industrial past and contemporary minimalism meet. Once a bustling bakery and later an artist’s studio, this early 1900s building has been reborn as a luminous arts center and private venue. Its adaptive reuse, led by architect Jorge Zapata, honors the community’s creative heritage while offering expansive modern design for large-scale events. With 7,500+ sq. ft. indoors and an outdoor terrace of 1,000 sq. ft., the venue’s three floors provide an open canvas for productions, exhibitions, and private gatherings. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame sweeping views of the East River and Manhattan skyline, while exposed columns, skylights, and wood beams showcase the raw beauty of Brooklyn’s industrial DNA. Events here are both intimate and grand: from standing receptions of up to 220 guests, to seated dinners for 120, or theater-style seating for 180. The soaring ceilings, dramatic grand staircase, and flexible open floor plan allow each experience to be staged as a work of art. Twice a year, the walls transform with curated art exhibitions, infusing the space with the spirit of the neighborhood’s creative community.
