Open House Lofts is a 4,000 sq ft corner loft at 110 N. Peoria St, right in the West Loop’s restaurant and gallery strip. Floor-to-ceiling windows run along the street side, with exposed brick, polished concrete floors and raw concrete ceilings with silver ductwork overhead. The light in the front lounge on a clear afternoon is ridiculous. It’s not one big empty box, either. You get a set of distinct rooms that work as separate looks or separate functions. There’s a gallery-white dining area with a 10-seat marble table, a sunken-feeling lounge built around a curved black leather sectional and a cluster of glass globe pendants, a cozier TV lounge with brick, a terrazzo-style table set and a stocked beverage fridge, plus a galley kitchen in walnut and black stone with a gas range, dishwasher and coffee setup. Because the space was built for market research, the tech is better than most lofts (which you’ll appreciate the first time a client wants to watch from another room). There are 80" HD monitors for closed-circuit viewing, HD cameras, live streaming for remote viewers and enterprise Wi-Fi with backup. That makes it easy to run a video village, a hybrid meeting or a launch that people dial into. Good fits: photo and video shoots, offsites and strategy days, workshops, product launches, dinners, interviews, podcasts and focus groups. Private rooms can split a crew from talent or a client team from the main session. On-site staff are around during bookings and catering can be arranged.
