Unique opportunity to use 3 properties including 2 homes (1 of which can be lived in - one of which can be burned down, bulldozed, exploded or destroyed in anyway you choose) on a PRIVATE peninsula (limited access to only a few homes on dead end street) on Lake Monomonac (which borders MA/NH)! The house described above was purchased years ago with the intent to knock it down to rebuild - so sky is the limit with this property to do what you want with it! Paint it, knock it down, burn it or bulldoze it. It definitely makes a great backdrop for ANY type of scary, horror movie. Or to use for any lakeside story you can imagine. This house has a 270 degree water view/access, surrounded on three sides by water offering tremendous views and privacy. A seasonal A-Frame home with wood floors throughout. Oversized slider in living room overlooking lake. Enclosed porch. Balcony off bedroom and a sandy beach area. Only steps away - (just 2 houses over) is the current lake home we use mainly on weekends during the summer. This is another property you could use for completely different backgrounds and scenes. ALL properties are located on Beachview Dr, Winchendon, MA (a private peninsula with only a dozen homes, many only used in summer). The 2nd we purchased in 2003 and is a single family home that contains 1,500+ sq ft and was built in 1963. It contains 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms (many upgrades/updates). Two story with lots of extra sleeping options from Murphy beds - pull out sofas - convertible beds. Both houses together can be combined to allow cast, crew to stay in one home while filming in the other. Or simply to allow for a variety of background and the difference between newly renovated and a house that could be knocked down. We also own another lot across the street (all 3 on the private peninsula) which is completely empty and is simply an overgrown grassy patch but is also directly on the lake. All 3 properties are within walking distance of mere feet between the 3 all of which are located on the private peninsula. There are many options for filming year round - you could even stay on site....Beach, boating and BBQ in the warmer months plus paddle boards, paddle boats, wind surfers, and a variety of water toys! For the colder months a couple snow mobiles, bring some cross country skis or we can help arrange for some entertainment! Locally we have Mt Watchusett for those who like to ski or snow board and we have access to more than most. Snow mobile trails can be followed from our back door all the way to Canada. PRIVATE - remote - quiet and peaceful. Winchendon is home to the Lake Dennison Recreation Area and Whitney Pond, and shares Lake Monomonac with Rindge, New Hampshire to the north. The nearest small airport is Gardner Municipal Airport in Templeton, and the nearest national air service is located at Manchester-Boston Regional Airport in New Hampshire. Fun Facts on Winchendon - Converse participated in various businesses in the town including making toys from 1883 to 1934. Because of the volume of toys made in Winchendon it became known as Toy Town. original Rocking Horse was built in 1912 and was named Clyde.
