About the Space

York Studios Event Space offers an intimate, sleek, smart space to customers for personal, business, cultural, and or social events and gatherings. York Studios Event Space is a brand new, beautifully designed event venue with 1400sq ft. of event space. Our venue has the capacity to accommodate 70 people per event. Our space has a kitchenette fully equipped with a large fridge/freezer, microwave, and coffeemaker for your use & convenience. The venue is a "Smart Space”, with a few amenities easily controlled by an iPad to manipulate and control the heating/air-conditioning, lights, sounds, entertainment system, and window blinds. This smart space also has an accessible aux cord and HDMI output, so our guest may bring their own music or video which is plug and play ready. All patrons have full access to unlimited Wifi, local cable, Apple TV, as well as all music platforms like Spotify, Tidal, Apple Music services, and much more, for music entertainment & enjoyment. The audio and video system, powers 2 TV's and a projector with an automatic 22' projector screen. This system also powers in-ceiling speakers and subwoofer to produce great quality sounds for events such as; Video showings, movies, sports viewing, music, and or to simply speak over a wireless mic and much much more. The LED pot lights in the floating ceilings, light up the space and are dimmable, to give patrons and their events a more calm ambiance. The contemporary LED chandeliers create a unique beautiful sophisticated but modern look to our venue and the colorful LED strips create a festive mood with many types of light displays as well as customizable displays that are created through the Illume LED app that can be controlled by the end-user. This small feature can and will liven up your event. The venue comes with an option for 6' and 8' tables, as well as bar tables and chairs to be setup up anyway the customers would like to host their patrons. All furnishings can be quickly and easily set up and/or broken down. White, black, and cream spandex table and chair cloths are available to dress the furniture for a more pleasant and classy look. Dressing the furniture would be considered an add-on service and is charged. Customers also have the option to purchase a Back Drop which they may customize to fit their event. The venue also has large, blank feature walls ready for the end user’s customization for those customers looking to set up a gallery or artwork. We are also equipped with a coat room so patrons may store their coats and jackets so they are out of the way while enjoying their event. At York Studios Event Space, patrons can enjoy free parking and the venue is fully accessible, for all patrons who may have impairment or disabilities. The Event Space is centrally located in the Weston Neighbourhood and is accessible by major highways, TTC, GO and UP train services. Contact us for booking and information.
