We are an elegantly cool private event and meeting space in the historic 1920s William Randolph Hearst former printing plant. The open loft feel with original windows, high ceilings and gorgeous wood are to die for. We are located in the South of Market District of San Francisco just 2 blocks West of Moscone Center. We can hold up to 80 on our top floor, 50 on our second floor and up to 40 in our unique ground floor historic 1850's Country Store/Mercantile. We provide full bar, complete catering, full technical build-out, streaming and more including every resource for private events day or night. Let us host your corporate function, private party, PR Event, off-site work day, product launch, business conference, social media event, art show, media and retail showcase, fundraiser, or unique wedding.The Owner is a Director/Producer/Art Director and we have produced many Commercials, Films and location Shoots on various Floors of the space. We are currently expanding inside our building and have our new 1st floor Pressroom and Mercantile at The Box SF available to rent for small tours, receptions or film shoots. Our second floor has three private suites including our Buddy Suite Classroom. These suites seat 4 to 30 people respectively. Additionally we have a hidden Speakeasy/Wine Cellar in our Basement that seats 10. All floors can be combined for unique and creative events and we offer full production and streaming capability. Onsite Bar and Full Catering.

The Box has a romantic, historic vibe and is perfect for elegant wedding setups. The food is amazing and the service is top-notch. Our guests complimented its warm and intimate ambiance. Loved everything about it. 100% recommended!

The meeting space was amazing. It had a loft-like architecture with seperate rooms on the first floor, and a 1800's country store and letterpress shop on the ground floor. The shop had beautiful antique items on display. The place hosts some really cool workshops on a monthly basis. One that must not be missed is The Art of Active Networking. Loved the vibe of this place!

The Box served as the perfect venue for my friend's birthday. Leslie, from customer service, was super helpful and quick with the booking and contract process. I loved how the staff was helpful with decorations and set-up. They were present and made sure all our requirements were met, well until the end of the event. I definitely recommend The Box!
