1955 Mid century home with pool

About the Space

Offered for rental is our unique mid century modern home designed and built by architect Harold B. Zook in 1955. Complete with kidney swimming pool, exposed stone fireplace, city views, and light throughout the day, this home is a true retro relic. The outdoor space boasts both pool and hot tub, checkerboard paving, outdoor shower, and a vibrant fuchsia wall. Indoor space includes an enormous decorative fireplace, a built-in tiki bar, and interesting nooks in front of which one might pose. The space also serves as the showroom of vintage decor powerhouse Decorjois, and is hence flush with high-end furniture, art, decor, and sculpture from the 1950s and 60s. Please note that certain decor and furniture you see in the photos might not be present for your shoot (as many items are actively for sale), so reach out beforehand if there was a particular piece of decor you were hoping to shoot with. Generally, shoots are ideal between the hours of 10am and 6pm (since we have kids and thus school and bedtimes) but potentially willing to consider earlier or later timing if your shoot calls for it.
