About the Space

The United Theater on Broadway is a Spanish Gothic inspired 1600 seat movie palace turned event venue. High arched ceilings, intricate details, and sweeping staircases embody the 1920's renegade spirit of this uniquely historic space. Designed by Mary Pickford, where she and the United Artists once took the stage. Concerts, comedy shows, premieres/screenings and special banquets often grace our venue these days. Everything you need for a great show is right here. Typical areas for shoots/events: - Theater Auditorium: 763 Red Velvet Floor Seats, 822 Red Velvet Balcony Seats. Stage Dimensions are roughly 41ft by 39ft. Proscenium is 46ft by 32 ft. Large original Hollywood murals on left and right walls. Stage can seat up to 100 for a dinner. - Grand Lobby: Entrance with original Terra Cotta tile, 35ft tall vaulted ceilings modeled after a Spanish Gothic Cathedral in Segovia, Spain. Original chain-hung chandeliers. Hand painted cathedral like sandstone ceilings.
