Welcome to our 100 year old home on Commercial drive! It’s a 2 beds 2 bath with a home office, living room, dining room, and separate kitchen. Features original wood flooring throughout, a working brick fireplace, a spacious A-frame second floor “attic”, a back deck and garden, and tons of character, art, plants, and natural light. Samir and Lala were the best hosts you can ever hope to work with. Kind and generous, they made sure our filming went great from day 1. We filmed at their gorgeous place for three straight days. The place is a beautiful, well maintained property, with LOTS of characters and colors, the opposite of the austere white walls and dark places you find in Vancouver. Production design came easy as the place already has a lot of gorgeous elements like wood panel walls, beautiful art and an overall great sense of beauty and design. One of the best locations we’ve ever filmed in, period. Super recommended!
