Samir and Lala were the best hosts you can ever hope to work with. Kind and generous, they made sure our filming went great from day 1. We filmed at their gorgeous place for three straight days. The place is a beautiful, well maintained property, with LOTS of characters and colors, the opposite of the austere white walls and dark places you find in Vancouver. Production design came easy as the place already has a lot of gorgeous elements like wood panel walls, beautiful art and an overall great sense of beauty and design. One of the best locations we’ve ever filmed in, period. Super recommended!

100 year old character home on the commercial drive. 2 beds 2 bath, 1 home office, 2 living rooms and lots of plants The house still has its original wood floor, original brick fireplace and wooden wall panelling in the bathroom. We’ve also got a claw foot tub. Our second floor is one big A-Framed bedroom. All other rooms are on the first floor. We’re one block from commercial, walking distance from restaurants and cafes if you need to grab a bite.
