1 person who will help guide your guests in the elevator (we will determine this after we meet). We have someone who can help in the elevator at $20/hour, highly recommended you work with her, as the elevator can be tricky.*

STANDING SET PRISON / JAIL CELL
SMALL MINI STUDIO
+cells are in a 500 SF industrial space near the Van Nuys airport that's perfect for small productions and short projects.
+Two jail cells each with a cot and mattress.
+Both have rolling bar doors
+Payphone is real. Can be removed to have a clean wall.
+Comes with 2 cots and foam mattresses. NO LINENS
+includes a rolling set piece with "bulletproof" glass that is used for inmate and visitor scenes.
+Has two payphone handsets
You can also film from inside the cell looking out using the same set-piece but flipped around backward. It works as a hallway if you are shooting a guard interaction, for example, and want to see the guard's face or over the inmate's shoulder.
+Comes with 1 folding table (not to be used by art dept) and folding chairs
+A/C. (it's old but works fine in the small space)
+Parking for 2 1/2 vehicles (motorcycle) right in front of the door. Street parking isn't terrible.
Note, cell bars do not SLAM but they do close with a strong magnet and make a nice stick.
The studio must be returned to the condition it was delivered.
No to all of the following:
adult content, fire, burning, SFX, painting, rigging on set, drilling into set, taking apart or modifying ANY part of the set in ANY way, etc without written permission.
PLEASE BE ON TIME FOR YOUR RENTAL. If you are more than 20 minutes late for your start time and you do not communicate with me prior to that, I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO LOCK UP AND LEAVE. Rental would not be refundable in this situation. Your rental starts at the reserved time not when you arrive.
IF YOU ARE RUNNING LATE OR GOING LONG AND DO NOT COMMUNICATE PRIOR TO WRAP TIME WE CHARGE $30 PER HALF HOUR OF STANDBY TIME WHILE WE WAIT FOR YOU. If you let us know early, WE WILL HAPPILY WORK WITH YOU.
ALSO, If members of your group are <21, you are required to hire a site rep @ $20 / hr you are here paid directly to the rep. MUST set up prior to shoot date.

Please note that tables don't come with linens. A few pieces of stylish furniture are included with the room rental (couch, antique wood block tables, bar-height serving table, 2 round high-top tables), and the hanging lights are permanently installed on dimmers.
NOTE RE: BOOKING TIMES:
We usually only book meeting and workshop rentals on weekdays before 6pm because we also have some production and studio rooms in the same building. In the evening and on weekends we can't guarantee no background noise will be audible - we can still book you in on evenings and weekends if you are fine with this aspect. During the day we block off nearby production rooms in order for the meeting space to be quiet for meetings, whereas we can't do this at other times. There's a not a huge amount of noise transfer but it would be audible if your event is quiet in nature. If your event will be social, casual, or have background music then it would be fine to book evenings and weekends.
To complete the booking process, we require a rental agreement
Very charming, classic theater with high ceiling, stage, curtained backdrop, vintage seats built in the 1920's and complete audio/PA setup. Additional 'balconies' both behind seating and above stage.
The theater is fully set up with PA, performance and recording microphones, lighting (5 incandescent PAR cans and two Chauvet Ovation full-color LED ERS-style lights), projector and screen. There is a small backstage and plenty of storage room in the back of house. The high 15 ft ceiling gives the space a wonderful sound.
The space is ideal for filming, musical performance, comedy shows, theater, rehearsals and special events. There is a loading zone in front and is street-level. Walk-throughs are welcomed and encouraged!
Located on Melrose Avenue in East Hollywood, right next to the historic Jensen's Melrose Theater (now Ukrainian Culture Center) with lots of street parking.
(Note: There is a beautiful and very friendly rescue cat named Lazarus that periodically passes through the space; those with severe cat allergies please take note.)

We're happy to provide one flat hourly rate that covers all your party needs. This includes all tables and chairs in stock, any speakers/sound equipment for music, sufficient parking space, and a manager that will be onsite for your entire event to help you from start to finish.
We collect a security deposit up to $500 via Venmo or cash the day of your event. This will be returned upon inspection of the space and equipment. If all is well, you will receive it on your way out. It may take up to 24-72 hours to have your security deposit returned to you depending on the time your event ends (late night events) and the extent of the damage. If your security deposit was issued through Venmo, it will be sent back to you through Venmo. If you paid a cash security deposit, you can pick up your returned deposit onsite the next day.
Our hope is that our clients and their guests will respect the space and keep it tidy. We are responsible for the basic cleaning practices (mopping, taking the trash out, etc). You are responsible for removing the items you brought with you. The venue has plenty of windows that we keep open during the cleaning process to ensure proper ventilation.
Included in your booking are 65 padded black steel folding chairs and 8 6-foot rectangular tables. A fully tuned speaker system is ready to be plugged into any device. Feel free to use the SMART TV for any sports games, slideshows, or videos. We also serve as a rehearsal studio, so we have band equipment to rent onsite.
ALL vendors must be approved by management.
PARKING AND OUTDOOR SPACE
We have an gated parking lot that will be made available to you. There are 13 spaces but you're free to fill the lot! There is an abundance of free street parking in the area. The larger gated lot is joined to the venue space by a door. This makes load-in and load-out simple. Ask about having a food vendor/truck set up outside!

Sought + Found Rentals provides luxury home furnishings for your set or temporary living accommodations provided to talent for your productions. We carry everything you need to furnish a vacant home - living room dining room, bedroom furniture along with accent furniture, rugs, artwork, lighting, and accessories. The items are primarily available for rent to film/tv and commercial productions, but we can certainly look to sell items as well.
Most of our inventory covers transitional to contemporary style, but we also have some vintage pieces.
The overall space is 11,000 sq ft, including 3,000 sq ft of showroom space. The showroom space is very open and has 2 additional office spaces and a small break area. The entrance to the showroom is beautifully landscaped and has a wall of windows allowing for ample natural light.
The warehouse has 24’ ceilings and 3 dock-height doors. You can also enter the space from a door at the back of the warehouse. Since ours is a working warehouse space, the warehouse will contain racking full of home furnishings and our job supplies. The showroom has several vignettes setup (for dining room, living room, and bedroom options), but those can be cleared out if you would rather have the showroom space empty.
