Kayla's space was absolutely stunning!! We used it for a chic at-home styled shoot, and it was perfect. The light was incredible between about 9-11am, and again really stunning towards the end of the day. (We were lucky to get the space on a particularly sunny day!) Kayla was easy to communicate and super helpful & available via text during my booking. Maybe only one thing to keep in mind if you book is that the studio is up 4 flights of stairs and there is no elevator. In future when I book this space (which I will!) that is probably something I'll mention to clients :)

We have hosted events/shoots at the playground many times, and love it every time. It's in a convenient location, has a good price and communication is always easy. This time was no exception, though we only had one slight inconvenience. There is no heating in the space aside from two small heaters so it does get really cold in the space if the temperature is low outside. Other than that everything is perfect and as expected!

Sarah was most kind and helpful, the home looked exactly as in the pictures and was the perfect place to host our video and photo shoot. Sarah was accommodating and quick in responding to any communication. I hope we are able to use this wonderful space again in the near future. Thanks!

They come to see the site he was found (now housed in the King Richard III Visitors Centre) as well as his new resting place at Leicester Cathedral.

The East Midlands airport is approximately an hour away from the city centre, and Heathrow is just over 2 hours away. Motorways are easily accessible as well as the train line that is available from other major cities.

Enough Variety to Plan the Wedding of Your Dreams

In addition to the vendors mentioned already, when planning a wedding you are spoilt for choice in Leicester and can find many services that will make sure you have the wedding of your dreams.

Cons

  • The Weather
Plan a wedding in Winter; it can be bitterly cold. Plan a wedding in Summer; it can be quite humid. And to be honest, no matter what month you plan for, you may encounter rain. Making sure you have a backup plan will be the only way you can manage the weather.

  • The Sun Doesn’t Shine for Long Each Day
The sun doesn't shine too often -- or for very long when it does come out, so make sure you don’t rely on a sunny day to get married.

This city really loves its football, so it isn’t recommended to plan a wedding during a football match, especially if fans are to be guests!

  • Your Location Choice May Raise Some Eyebrows
Leicester hasn’t had the best reputation in regards to living costs or raising a family in the city. Those who follow those types of trends may question your reasoning for having your wedding there.

  • People will Talk About a Dead King a Lot
Since 2012, there has been a lot of fuss regarding the finding of King Richard III. Guests who are from out of town might chat about this a lot.
