There are several Hill Country Wineries and breweries nearby as well as some of the area's best food choices - Hays City Store, Trattoria Lisina and The Salt Lick are all within just a few miles. This is the second cottage of two located on the Vintage Oaks Farm property. It has a great little kitchen with everything you need to cook or entertain friends. There is a large bathroom with a walk-in shower with a rain head! The bedroom has a new queen bed that is very comfortable. The living room has a queen size Murphy Bed perfect for guests. This 528 square foot cottage has a lovely front porch for enjoying the farm style atmosphere. There is also a large outdoor space with a Gas Grille for the enjoyment of guests. HILLCOUNTRY WINERIES We view the Austin music scene as a spillover from Wimberley! Those who play 6th Street and the world live, work and perform here. Check out the music scene in the Wimberley area. MARKET DAYS AND FARMERS MARKETS All about farmers markets, flea markets, arts and crafts shows, trade days, and pick-your-own farms... around Wimberley and well beyond the Hill Country area. The Market Day guides include resources for locally grown food and recycled treasures every week of the year, including featured vendors and products. Texas is noted for being home of the nation's oldest, most colorful authentic dance halls. They're sprinkled (lightly) all over the state, but 11 of the best reside within a 50 mile radius of Wimberley and they include two of the state's oldest (Twin Sisters Dance Hall and Gruene Hall).
