This 1910 Victorian-Craftsman, a registered historical landmark, has starred in more than a dozen commercials for the likes of Kraft Heinz, ESPN, Community Coffee, and various pharmaceuticals and non-profits. Directors have had actors swing on the spacious front porch, lounge in the cozy living room, read in the book-lined den, awaken in the sun-filled bedroom, cook in the airy kitchen, duck into the comfy pantry, stroll down the wide central hallway, eat in the eclectic dining room, water plants in the screened back porch, snooze in the backyard hammock, and even sneak out at night through the jumbo windows. Lovingly maintained over the years (and landmarked for its unique Victorian-Craftsman hybrid style), the house still has its original longleaf-pine floors, doors, molding, and sash windows. Other unique period features include working stained-glass transoms over doorways, two sets of pocket doors, and a high ceiling (12.5 feet). The remodeled kitchen melds intact period details with a modernized layout, including a rear glass door/wall that rolls out of the way accordion-style for open access to the screened-in back porch, transforming the space with a push. The upstairs floor, a more recent addition, sports two bedrooms, a bathroom, a common room, a small office, a laundry room, and attic space. The Cherrywood neighborhood sports plenty of restaurants and shops a quick stroll away. University of Texas and downtown Austin aren't far either.
