About the Space
Milwood is a flexible indoor-outdoor production space in Venice designed for photo shoots, video productions, creative meetings, workshops, and small events. Inside, the studio features high ceilings, concrete floors, a seamless wall, movable furniture, and a rotating selection of color backdrops. The open layout gives productions plenty of room to build sets, shape lighting, or keep things minimal and clean. Natural light shifts throughout the day, while blackout options allow for more controlled lighting setups when needed. Outside, the courtyard and exterior areas work well for lifestyle content, casual meetings, talent holding, or additional shooting space. The mix of textures, greenery, and natural light offers a different feel from the studio without needing to change locations. The space is intentionally simple, adaptable, and easy to work in — whether you’re hosting a small client event, shooting branded content, or using it as a basecamp for a larger production around Venice and the Westside.

We recently used Milwood Studios for a fashion/content shoot and had a great experience. The space is super clean, versatile, and really easy to work in. Natural light is solid, the layout makes sense, and load-in/setup was smooth. You can tell it’s a well thought out production space that actually works for creatives. If you’re looking for a photo studio in Los Angeles for fashion shoots or general content creation, this is a great spot. We’ll definitely be back.
