Founded by husband-and-wife team Chef Bret Thompson and Lucy Ramirez Thompson, the venue has proudly served the LA community for nearly a decade. Inspired by the coastal flavors of Loreto, Baja California, and Lucy’s Mexican culinary roots, our restaurant brings together tradition and innovation. Chef Bret, classically trained in European cuisine, infuses contemporary techniques into timeless family recipes—such as Lucy’s mother’s pozole verde and her father’s carnitas, cooked in his 50-year-old copper cazo. This unique blend of heritage and craft creates a dining experience that feels both elevated and deeply personal. We believe food is about connection. Our menu highlights the freshest seasonal ingredients, with ceviches, aguachiles, and mariscos taking center stage alongside prime cuts of meat, vibrant salads, and family-style entrées.
