Venice Beach is a public property managed by LA County Beaches and Harbors. Rates are based on filming activity.

Film Use fee: $400/day
Still Photo use fee: $100 use fee/ Per 3 Consecutive Days, Per Beach
Prep/Strike: $100 use fee/ Per Day (1st 3 days / $400 a day after 3 days)
NOTES
An LA County lifeguard may be assigned at the discretion of LA County Beaches and Harbors based on filming activity. Activity that typically triggers a requirement include, but are not limited to: water activity, lifeguard tower activity, and filming after hours. These conditions have been drafted by the Los County Department of Beaches & Harbors to help facilitate filming at this location.
- All equipment must be 10 feet from bike path.
- Exceptions can be made for playback or amplified sound after 10 p.m. at Venice Beach and will require a FilmL.A. Coordinator to seek prior approval from the Supervisors office.
- No filming, blocking or parking on access ramps or storm drains.
- Companies must fly cables over bike path.
- No vehicles or other equipment on turf, unless otherwise approved by DBH.
