About the Space

A European Castle situated in Austrian Alps. With its gorgeous "Sound of Music" (which was filmed in the same area) surroundings and beautiful bohemian and rich interior makes this place the perfect spot for a film location. Recently used for a netflix production, the space has all you need. The castle itself is roughly 32 000 sq ft and the surrounding land is about 250 acres. It has a stable and lots of parking spots for motorhomes and other film crew vehicles (up to 25). The castles has 4 floors and a basement all in its unique grand European style. Decorated with Baroque and Renaissance paintings, furnitures and other objects this space is truly one of a kind. Beautiful coffered ceilings decorate the rooms and intricate wooden doors welcome you into them. The Estate also has a natural pool that reflects the mountain surroundings. and a beautiful front courtyard with a castle gate, patio and a deer statue. Can be customised to the movies demand upon agreement. For nature shots we own forrest and a mountain in Untertal Valley, a beautiful Austrian alpine valley with a river running through it and dramatic mountains surrounding it that can be used upon demand. The estate is located 5 min from a small airport for helicopters and smaller airplanes (Pilatus PC-12 maximum). We also own a small airplane that can be used for sets if needed to.
