About the Space
The Haunted House is located in historic Lebanon, Illinois, about 20 minutes from St. Louis, Missouri. The house is on the historic registry for architectural significance. It is a Second Empire home, built circa 1837, and we have put forth effort to maintain period appropriate interiors, yet adding a bit of whimsy along the way. The House sits on a brick street, lined with additional pre-Victorian and Victorian era buildings. It's history included being a music conservatory, a tuberculosis hospital, a Knights of Pythias Hall, and sitting abandoned for 25 years. All ceilings are high, none are drop ceilings, and all floors remain hardwood. The cellar does have a brick and stone floor. We look forward to hearing from you you!
