The house is a pre-American Revolutionary War (certified built 1775) southern 2 story white painted clapboard pine house. It's first major renovation occurred in 1830 to include the 2 story Greek Revival porches with large columns on the East and South sides of the house. It has a total of 6 porches facing East, South, West, and North. The house is currently being renovated to approximate its 1830s appearance.

The owner is a very knowledgeable businessman and is aware of the needs and ability to work with business owners who are hosting a study session for their out of town staff. The site is quiet and provides rooms for individuals to work. The site is clean and serviced by his staff. I highly recommend this site. It is close to Augusta and Interstate.

We chose the Hammond House to host a lunch celebration and thank you for AARP volunteers who work to improve the lives of the 50+ population. WOW! This historical mansion was a great to enjoy fellowship and the fellow and all the gorgeous amenities of house. Great furnishings, exquisite kitchens, beautiful rooms and host services that made setting up the event so easy. Thanks James We loved your house.
