We have a unique and attractive venue for filming vacation-like settings, landlocked surfing, water sports, unique dating ideas, foodie destinations, things-to-do segments, non-profit and charity events, party and night-life scenes, etc etc. Vacation and resort vibes abound with a globally inspired restaurant and bar surrounding an authentic surfing wave pool. Onlookers are entertained as they eat incredible dishes by surfers, bodyboarders, and bodysurfers along with kiddos shredding on the up to 6' tall surfing wave. Unlike Flowrider, this uses real surfboards with fins, is a treadmill for surfing and has an ocean-front-like vibe that transports guests away from Texas and into vacation mode. Innovative Surf Experience: Experience the excitement of surfing in landlocked Texas with our state-of-the-art Citywave technology. Perfect for all skill levels, our wave pool can accommodate up to 15 surfers every 40-minute session. Exceptional Dining: Enjoy globally inspired cuisine that caters to all dietary preferences. Our poolside dining area offers a relaxing atmosphere to savor delicious, healthy dishes. Vibrant Nightlife: Fireside After Dark transforms our venue into a lively nightlife destination with live DJs, lighted surfboards, and fire pits, perfect for unwinding after a day of activities. Venue Details: Capacity: Inside Fence Line: Up to 300 guests. Outside Fence Line: Additional capacity available. Event Spaces: Various spaces for different event sizes and formats, including poolside dining, pergolas, and couches. Wave Sessions: 40-minute session buyout: $900. Complete venue buyout: Starting at $10,000 for a minimum of 2 hours during normal operating hours, $20,000 for a half day, and $30,000 for a full day closed to public event filming. Production rates vary based on scope. Amenities: Cabanas and Catering: Bespoke offerings and special staffing for events and productions. Up to Professional Surfers: Available for performances on the wave at a negotiated rate. Outdoor Speakers and DJs: Available for use and reservation, ensuring your event has the perfect soundtrack. Wi-Fi and Parking: Free Wi-Fi and spacious parking due to our central location within a larger shopping center. Booking and Policies: How to Book: Book directly with Fireside Surf or through online booking agencies (additional charge may apply). Deposits and Cancellations: Non-refundable deposit required. Re-booking subject to availability. Cancellation incurs a minimum of 50% of the booking fee if within 72 hours prior to the event. Food and Drink: No outside food or drinks unless approved in writing. Sponsorship fee applies for using brands other than Fireside Surf on premises. Production Requirements: Production will cover all damages and associated repairs, ensuring premises are left in like-or-better condition. Event Duration: Events range from 1 hour to multi-day film shoots and surfing camps/documentary days. Noise and Lighting: Must meet local code and not be a nuisance to surrounding apartments/establishments.
