This is a modern cliff top apartment on Aotea Great Barrier Island with wide views from within the apartment. It has a queen bedroom and a sundeck and access to a cliff top with 270 degree views over the Hauraki Gulf and the bay below. There is a welcoming host onsite. Our apartment and the attached house are in a 4WD location and off grid, which comes with power limitations.

This property offers a world class experience. The photos do not do it justice. The views are insanely spectacular, the furnishings are super stylish, the property is very well appointed and Hilda is extremely warm and friendly. We were very comfortable in every way and the accommodation was spotless. Getting there is slightly complicated but Hilde gave us great directions and it was certainly worth the 30 min drive from the airport. The beaches and bushwalking were sublime and completely pristine. We will be back! This is a lovely lovely property.

Best stay of our NZ trip. Hilde was an incredible host and even helped us when our rental car broke down. Highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful stay with beautiful views.
