About the Space
The Stone House was built in 1872 as the home of Druid Hill Park’s zoo Superintendent. This beautifully restored venue features window sills over a foot deep in an 800 sq. ft. two-story main room with a 336 sq. ft. bay-window ancillary room, a catering kitchen, and a rest area alcove with two half bathrooms. This venue was great for our afternoon retreat. The chairs and tables were easy to move around to suit our needs, and the screen was perfect. The grounds are also lovely, and Anita was a delight to work with. The weather was perfect for us, so one group was able to meet outside during our breakout session. We used the caterer, "Taste This," and the food was delicious!
