About the Space
The Stone House was built in 1872 as the home of Druid Hill Park’s zoo Superintendent. This beautifully restored venue features window sills over a foot deep in an 800 sq. ft. two-story main room with a 336 sq. ft. bay-window ancillary room, a catering kitchen, and a rest area alcove with two half bathrooms. We had my God daughter’s sweet 16 party here. The venue is beautiful! It’s perfect for a party of 40-60 people. Plenty of room for a DJ and food buffet. Anita was a great host and made everything as easy as possible for us. The only negative was that the kitchen is lacking. There is no stove or oven there to heat food or keep it warm until serving.

This venue was great for our afternoon retreat. The chairs and tables were easy to move around to suit our needs, and the screen was perfect. The grounds are also lovely, and Anita was a delight to work with. The weather was perfect for us, so one group was able to meet outside during our breakout session. We used the caterer, "Taste This," and the food was delicious!
