Serene lake house with stunning Santa Monica Mountains as the backdrop. The pictures don’t really do it justice! There is a floating dock with over 30’ of direct waterfront access. Stone and wood dock house sits out into the water for a more dramatic view. A beautiful rock wall lines the dock area with built in seats. Old oaks, grapevines and natural rock formations throughout the property. It offers many options for a rustic and natural setting. Interior: Lake views from every room. Bedrooms have large windows. 12’ Sliding doors connect the house to the beauty of the lake. Private community. No permit needed. Canoe available. Location is conveniently located in LA county off Kanan from the 101 fwy and 7 miles inland from Malibu beach. Charming modern house from 1952 with fireplace, large exposed beams. Parking available in front of house for 8-9 cars and on owner’s upper lot for 8-9 cars. Additional parking can be arranged for fee. On a septic system so crew of 15+ please rent a portable potty. COI required for HOA. $500 site rep required outside of rental fee.

Kathleen was an amazing host, and the Serene Lake House was a beautiful location for our production shoot. The property was exactly as pictured, with stunning views, great natural light, and plenty of space for our cast and crew to work comfortably. Kathleen was responsive, accommodating, and easy to communicate with throughout the entire process, which helped everything run smoothly from booking to wrap. We truly appreciated her hospitality and flexibility. I would definitely recommend this location to other productions and would love to book again in the future.
