The victorian house circa 1880's sits on the edge of Central City and the Lower Garden District. The victorian is centrally located and is walkable to the street car, second lines, parades, hotels, and restaurants. Discover an artistic location available for Super Bowl, Mardi Gras parades, second lines, photo shoots, film production, private parties, meetings, brand activations, weddings and more. Unique Features: History: This home circa 1880's has been a brothel, a guest house, abandoned and then saved and renovated in 2015 as a family home. Location: Walk everywhere! Beyond that parades are a block away, second lines pass in front of the house, and The Pontchartrain Hotel along with several other hotels line the view from the back yard. The Stained Glass Front Porch: The porch is adorned with 4 large stained glass panels. Originally from a Macy's store in Atlanta, these art deco pieces create the most beautiful privacy screen and colorful back drop against the all white porch. The Front Parlor Rooms: The light! Equipped with a large picture window and several side windows the light pours into the formal rooms with a lovely glow. The staircase in the second parlor room is original to the home.
