Our historic bar is the second oldest saloon in San Francisco and one of the top rated whiskey and cocktail bars in America. Built in 1907 to replace the original saloon, it features a unique late 19th century hand carved mahogany bar (that pre-dates the building, Victorian chandeliers, museum-like walls filled with pictures and whiskey shelves. Think red velvet curtains allow for light blocking to control your own lighting, or many windows are south and east facing allowing for great natural light, particularly in morning and early afternoon hours. Outside there are two "parklets" that can be used as well. Essentially they are outdoor booth seating beside the street. The bar room itself seats 48, holds 70-80 standing and is about 1000 sq ft. There is a 700 sq ft back room good for make-up, storage and out of site operations (but no loitering; just active production or storage). Film crews have parked large vehicles outside and rented surrounding facilities for meals and other purposes. Paid parking garages are a few blocks away. If you're looking for an authentic old west saloon, Victorian or stately atmosphere, it's a great room! Also just plays well as a local bar.
