About the Space

Our family farm is situated on 255 acres of land in Mahood Falls at the south west end of Wells Gray Provincial Park. The park is home to a plethora of waterfalls and wildlife. We have lived here since 2021 and are attempting to re-establish a fully self-sufficient farm and orchard. We are semi off-grid and house multiple locations in which we AirBnb for guests to experience the lifestyle. The property comes complete with mountains, semi-private lakes, ponds, sand pits, walking trails, hay fields, volleyball courts, pastures, fences, barns, outhouses, teepees, cabins, and workshops. Originally this property was the homestead of settlers from the 1900’s in which a Roserim Lake logging community was established. The original post office, barn, and sheds are still on the property and in use. A testament to their quality of work. Now home to our family of 6, 32 sheep, 100 chickens, 2 goats, 2 horses, 4 dogs, and 8 cats.
