Our 1500 sq ft cape was built in 1936, renovated this past year and sits on nearly an acre of land less than 3/4 of a mile from the ocean in Westerly, RI. It borders preserved forest and a small family farm across the street. We have an outdoor shower, large lawn with a hammock, large vegetable garden, and a deck for outdoor meals. Bikes and surfboards available upon request. The house also has a cozy fireplace, a bathtub and fast wifi. OWNERS LIVE ON PROPERTY IN A SEPARATE HOME. No pets please. Guests must have reviews. For film shoots: the interiors are influenced by minimalist Scandinavian design. The furnishing are a mixture of mid-century, and antiques. Lots of clean, raw wood and white walls. There is a 60's-era muted-yellow tile and tub in the upstairs bathroom. We have two vintage turntables, one in the living room and one in the master bedroom. An antique desk and typewriter in the master bedroom. There are very nice stone walls on property and a farm with cows across the street. The beach down the street has an isolated stretch with off-road trails that are incredible for filming. Even mid-summer, its very uncrowded. There are 100+ acres of woods adjacent to the property with some (narrow) trails. Owner's art and music studio, wood fired "cannibal" hot tub and fire pit can also be considered for shoot for an additional fee.
