Welcome to this beautiful boutique hotel that indulges all of life's luxuries. Located in the former home of Christopher North, a 19th century essayist and hedonist who lived life to the full, we stay true to our heritage and encourage our guests to make every second count.
You can find our boutique hotel in the centre of Edinburgh's UNESCO World Heritage site, tucked away down a serenely calm cobbled street. We are just a short stroll to Princes Street, meaning that we are perfectly placed for exploring all the city has to offer. Full of character, our spacious rooms and suites combine modern amenities with stylish, antique furnishings.
All 26 rooms are individually-styled and spread across our two wonderful buildings. Each one has been decorated to enhance the heritage features, and many offer stunning views of the UNESCO New Town. With so few rooms, there is real sense of personal service, especially with porters on hand to help with luggage, as the historic status of the building prevents us installing a lift.
Please note that we do not allow shooting during event dates, such as Rubgy nights, Fringe Festival, etc.
Please note that the published rate and minimum # of hours to book are flexible and it depends on the type of event, days of the week, timings & number of guests. So, it would be best to enquire if you are interested.
