About the Space

New construction, completed 2025! The property is a 2-story cabin with double-height ceilings, floor-to-ceiling South-facing windows, and a sustainable energy design controlled by a thermostat, wood stove, and heat-controlling fans. Set back more than 700 feet into the property, the cabin manages to feel cozy and secluded while also being super close to skiing, shopping, and other activities! Occasional visible neighbors, depending on the weather (which may mean seeing part of a house, or seeing or hearing a piece of equipment — country life). Here is our home layout: Ground Floor - Mudroom/entryway (smart keypad entry, Ring doorbell) - Full guest bathroom (full bathroom with toilet, shower, tub) - Open-concept living room, dining room, and kitchen - Kitchen island seats 4 on barstools - Dining room table seats 6 - Main queen bedroom with full en-suite bath (toilet, shower, tub) Loft Area - Carpeted living/TV area complete with a sofa, smart TV, chairs, and games - Sofa, with pillows removed, can be a bed for 1 person. It's about twin size. - Bedroom area with a queen bed (no connected bath) - Workspace with one desk, lamp, and chair - Stairs required to access loft area Backyard - Backyard seating area with a sofa and chairs - Solo Stove fire pit - Side yard dining area with picnic table and PK Grill/Smoker combo - There are rarely visible neighbors, though you may see/head our South-facing neighbor's tractor or machines from time to time — country life! :) Heat and A/C - Most of the home is open-concept (kitchen, living room, partially enclosed loft) and climate-controlled by a mini-split - Loft and main bedroom both contain fans with winter settings and summer settings - Bathrooms have their own heated floors - Main bedroom stays warm in winter and cool in summer. It is not connected to the main mini-split heating and cooling, but has its own mini heating unit in case you want to get super cozy.
